Jessica Troxell

Jessica Fortney Troxell, 34, of Newport, TN, passed away peacefully after a long and difficult battle with breast cancer on May 1, 2025. She was born on May 27, 1990 in Atlanta, GA.

She is survived by her fiancé, Samuel Hill; father, Gary William Fortney; siblings, Nena Fortney, Macey Munyan, Patrick Fortney and Noah Fortney; in-laws, Gene Munyan and Brittney Fortney; niece, Juniper; nephew, Fulton; aunt, Melissa Ball McCarter; cousin, Regina Hawkins, and her son, Daniel.

Jessica was preceded in death by her mother, Freda Ball Turner, who passed away in January of 2021.

Jessica loved being outdoors, her animals, especially her dogs. She loved fishing, hiking and being around her family. She was so strong, so beautiful and so very much loved by the people's lives she touched throughout her life.
