Jessica Smith & Ailin Gil

Jessica Marie Smith, born in Chattanooga, TN on April 1, 1998 to Namon and Heather Smith passed away March 1, 2024, due to unfortunate circumstances. She was the first child of three leaving behind Taleea and Anthony Smith of Chattanooga, Tn. Jessica became a mother to Ailin Gil, June 6, 2017 and was an employee if the local Amazon facility here in Chattanooga, TN.

Jessica is preceded in death by her father, Namon Smith; grandparents, Robert L. Smith Sr. and Ellen Delores Smith (Emory), Patsy Stevens and Larry Stevens; uncle, Robert L. Smith Jr; and daughter, Alin Gil.

Survivors include her mother, Heather Smith; Siblings, Taleea and Anthony Smith, and Haley Jones; aunt, Jennifer Smith; uncle, John Emory; nephew, Michael Dickson; cousins, Latoia Smith, Thomas Smith, Jalan Render and Jamal Render, anda host of other cousins.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Companion Funeral Home, followed by the service at 1:0 PM. Pastor Horace Beasley officiating. Burial will be held at Tyner Cemetery following the service with pallbearers are going to be Anthony Smith, Thomas Smith, Jalan Render, Jamal Render, Michael Pyburn, Chris Lombardo, and Kenneth Glatt.
