Jesse Clinton Hipps

Jesse Clinton Hipps, 73, a lifetime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at his residence in Cleveland, TN. J.C. was a member of Community Hall Church of God where he was a minister for many years. He loved to go fishing, hunting, golfing and just being in the outdoors in general. Most of all J.C. loved his family, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Ora Clinton and sister Kathleen Mullinax.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 52 years, Nancy Hipps; sons Jerry Hipps and Brian Hipps; sister Barbara Woods; grandchildren Travis (Brandi) Hipps and Amber Hipps; great- grandchildren Riley Hipps, Raelyn Hipps and many other family members.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 12:00PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, TN. Pastors Jeannie Cissom, Tony Cissom and Guinn Greene to officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the National Cancer Society.
