Jerry M. Graham Sr.

Jerry M. Graham Sr., 75, journey on earth ended December 21st at 12:20 AM as he entered his eternal home in the sweet arms of Jesus. He was at home with his dearly loved family at the time of his passing. Jerry, better known as “Pappy”, was dearly loved by his wife, children, and grandchildren; his legacy has forever impacted their lives. Jerry enjoyed riding in the mountains and walking trails.He was an outdoor person and enjoyed cutting firewood and outdoor jobs. Jerry was a Tennessee Volunteer fan. He was a devoted member of Candies Creek Baptist Church, and loved spending time with his family, hence his reputation as a family man.
He is preceded in death by daughter Karen Graham, father Arnold Graham, mother Pauline Thompson Graham, brothers Harold Graham and Murel Graham and a nephew Robert Graham.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 55 years of marriage, Doris E. Wilson Graham, daughter Rhonda Torbett and her spouse Michael, son Jay Graham, grandchildren Hayley Wood and spouse Durelle, Christian Torbett, Destany Graham, Bailey Graham, one great grand-daughter, two soon to be born great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends on Friday night, December 22, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Candies Creel Baptist Church located at 294 Old Eureka Road in Charleston, TN. The funeral service will follow visitation at the church with Pastor Stan Gibson officiating. The interemt will take place on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens with David Graham, Lanny Graham, Terry Graham, Heath Allen, Jared Allen and Frankie Wilcoxin serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Hamilton, Rick Cawood, Jason Taylor, Steve Morgan and Keith Shell.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Saint Jude’s Children’s hospital or Shriner’s Children hospital in Jerry’s memory.
