Jerry Hysinger, age 80, departed this life on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at his residence. Born on June 8, 1940 to the late George and Mary Cannon Hysinger, he was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Retiring from Cleveland Chair after 30 plus years of service, he was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Freda just seven weeks ago; and brother Tubby Hysinger.
Left behind to cherish Jerry and Freda’s memory are their children, J.J. Hysinger(Cheryl) and Robin Sherlin(Eric), grandchildren, Logan Sherlin, Caden Sherlin, and Kainan Hysinger; sisters, Beatrice Wheeler and Juanita Tatham; as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for jerry Dean Hysinger, Sr. will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor Chris Rouse officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Logan Sherlin, Caden Sherlin, Kainan Hysinger, J.J.Hysinger, Eric Sherlin, and Wayne Sherlin serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6-8p.m. Friday, January 29 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
