Jerry D. Davis, 76 originally from Lenoir City, TN, transitioned to his heavenly home on March 16, 2024 in Madisonville, TN., surrounded by his family. He was born on December 10, 1947 to the late Robert and Margaret Davis.
Jerry loved spending time with his family. He had a passion for horses and always had his dog Bandit with him. He enjoyed watching Western TV shows. One of Jerry's life- long enjoyments was trading. He would have celebrated his 59th wedding anniversary with his wife Darlene in July, something he was proud of. He was a man of faith that was thankful for all God has done for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Darlene Davis of Madisonville, Tn; daughter, Tammy Conner of Madisonville, TN; granddaughter, Lacey Lashley (Justin) of Live Oak FL; Cloee Madison of Lenoir City, TN; great grandchildren, Jacob Lashley, Hunter Lashley, and Mya Madison; brother, Bobby Davis (Freddie) of Madisonville, TN; sisters, Betty McPhail (J W) of Athens, TN; Nioka Summers, of Athens, TN; Hughwanna Harvey (Wayne) of Lenoir City, TN; daughter-n-law, Jessica Clark (children) of Madisonville, TN, brother-n-law, Bob Arden (Linda) of Lenoir City, TN, Sister-n-law, Betty Chaney of Lenoir City, TN and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 5:00 pm at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, 400 S. White St., Athens, TN 37303 with Pastor Mitchell Payne officiating. There will be visitation from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.Jerry will be missed until we reunite again in heaven.
