Jerome William Armstrong

Jerome William Armstrong, 44, of Cleveland, TN passed away on October 4, 2017. He was born on August 9, 1973 to William Roy and Betty Jean Armstrong. Jerome was a lifelong resident of this area. He enjoyed working on cars and playing darts. He was also very active in coaching youth sports such as baseball and upward soccer.
He is preceded in death by his father William Roy Armstrong; grandmothers Velma Hall and Ressie Armstrong; uncles: Dennis Burchfield, Richard Armstrong, and Roe Armstrong and his aunt Nellie Armstrong.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Betty Jean Armstrong; son, Preston Zane Armstrong; sisters Jennifer McCracken (Kenny) and Kelly Noble (Joe); brothers: Michael Roy Armstrong (Virginia), Brent Armstrong, and Brad Armstrong. In addition to these he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday October 8, 2017 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm following the visitation with Rev. Richard Doug Snyder. Interment will follow the service in Reliance, TN.
