Jeffrey Reiman, 64 years old, passed away on August 6, 2024, in Murphy, North Carolina. His life was marked by creativity, hard work, and a deep appreciation for the joys of creative cooking, fishing, and sharing laughter with those around him.
Born on August 8, 1959 in Newton, Massachusetts, Jeffrey built a remarkable career that reflected his passion and entrepreneurial spirit. He was the proud owner of two highly successful restaurants-Temptations Cafe and Chowder House-where his culinary talents earned him recognition in multiple cooking competitions. His flair for flavor and dedication to excellence made his establishments beloved destinations for many.
After achieving success in the culinary world, Jeffrey channeled his skills into a new venture by founding a thriving home repair enterprise. His ability to reinvent himself professionally spoke to his resourcefulness and determination.
Jeffrey found joy not only in his work but also in the simple pleasures of life. He loved cooking for others, casting a line on quiet waters, exploring new places through travel, and spending time boating, all with his devoted wife Cheryl by his side. His love of laughter was infectious and brought warmth to every gathering.
He is survived by his devoted spouse of 22 years, Cheryl Veroline Reiman; his son, Chris Reiman; his brother, Scott Reiman; and his sisters, Pam Reiman and Holly Jackobson. He was the son to the late Peter and Patricia Reiman.
Jeffrey's Celebration of Life is May 17, 2025 at 11:00am, being held at Lynnwood Cemetery, 190 Boston Point Rd By-Pass, Weston, MA 02493. A luncheon will follow.
Jeffrey's legacy lives on through the memories he created with family and friends and the many lives he touched through his food, craftsmanship, and joyful spirit. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
