Obituary
Jeffrey Maurice Stokes, 46, a resident of Birchwood TN passed away on Tuesday October 25, 2011 in a Chattanooga hospital.
Jeffrey was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his mother Joann Welch Stokes.
Jeffrey is survived by one daughter Annie Stokes of Birchwood, his father Bud Stokes and step mother Dorothy Stokes also of Birchwood, three sisters Stephanie Bettis (Keith) of Birchwood, Kimberly Brown (Brian) of Ooltewah TN, and Stephanie Watts of Cleveland TN. He also is survived nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
The funeral service will be on Thursday October 27, 2011 at 8:00 PM at the Burdette Baptist Church located at 1910 Blythe Ferry Lane Birchwood, TN 37308 with the Reverend James Staton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Interment will be on Friday October 28th 2011 at 11:00 AM at the New McDonald Cemetery located on Snow Hill Road.
Companion Funeral & Cremation Service has charge of the arrangements.
