Obituary
Jeffrey Lynn “Jeff” Watson age 47 of Calhoun, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, January 1, 2012 in an Athens hospital. Jeff was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland, Calhoun area and was a member of the Clingan Ridge Baptist Church.   He was employed by Farm Fresh Produce in Charleston. His greatest achievement in life would be that of being a loving father to his daughter Ashley.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Bass Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. R.B Watson and his cousin, Kim Gentry.
He is survived by his parents Cecil and Alene Watson of Cleveland, his daughter, Ashley Watson of Calhoun, Ashley’s mother, Genelle Bazel. Survivors also include his sister Dottie Sneed, her husband Tim, and brother Chris Watson , his wife Shelley, nieces, Emily Anderson, her husband Gerry, Rachel Kohn, her husband David, Laney Watson and nephew Logan Watson. There is a host of extended family members that also will cherish Jeff’s memory.
The funeral will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night, January 3rd, 2012, at the Clingan Ridge Baptist Church located at 2412 Georgetown Rd. NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The Reverend Sammy Hooker, the Reverend Joe Moore and the Reverend Gerry Anderson will be officiating. Pallbearers will include: Randy Watson, Keith Shell, Tim Watson, Daniel Gentry, Justin Seaborn, Steve Watson and Tony Watson. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Brown and Bill Paul. The Watson Family will receive friends at the church from 4:00-7:00PM prior to the service. Interment will be held on Wednesday January 4th 2012 at 1:00 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
