Jeffrey Crawford

Jeff Crawford of Sale Creek, aged 60, passed away on March 24, 2024. He was a beloved father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Jeff was born on September 7, 1963, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, but he spent his formative years in East Brainerd. He went on to attend Tyner High School and later became a stone and brick mason. Throughout his life, he was known for his hard work, dedication and humor. Jeff was always a joy to be around.

But more than anything, Jeff was a caring father who loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He always had a story and enjoyed camping with his dog Cooper. In his free time, Jeff found pleasure in spinning a tale with friends and watching Tennessee VOLS football. He was there to offer help, support, and encouragement when a friend was in need.

Jeff is survived by his children, Alex Forbis (Mike) and Caitie Crawford (Caleb), his grandchildren, Christian, Silas, Max, his sister Angie Schreiber (Mike) and brother Lynn Crawford (Bettye). He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Bobbie Crawford Bonds, brother Ray Crawford. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

A celebration of life service will be held for family and close friends to be announced at a later date.
