Jeffrey Lawson

Jeffrey Laverne Lawson, born June 4, 1964, passed away October 27, 2023 at his home. His worries are finally over. He mourned the passing of his whole family: his father and mother, Doyle and Wanda Lawson; his brother, Anthony R. Lawson; and his beloved dog, Sadie, his last companion. He longed to be with them and couldn't find peace without them here.

Jeffrey was a graduate of the 1982 Bradley Central High School Class and the 1988 Santa Fe Community College Class in Gainesville, FL and was a former Cardiovascular Technologist. He was an avid Tennessee Vols football fan and was always excited to see the college football season begin.

He is survived by two aunts and an uncle who loved him dearly, Sue and Royce Presley and Joyce Coleman. He was also survived by first cousins and their families: Robin Millians (Tim); Janna Beard (Brian); Kimball Presley (Victoria); Derek Presley (Anissa); Linda Hardin; Judy Geren (Cephas); Jerrie Best (Greg); John Lawson (Kim); Gincy May (Bill); Mike Ownbey (Paulette); Penny Theresa Orders; Pam Bramlett; Gary Lawson (Vicki); Vickie Davis; Mary Jo Houser (Wally); Charles David Lawson(Lynette); Jana Lawson.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Tom and Vona Ray, and paternal grandparents, Paul and Berdie Lawson, several cousins and many aunts and uncles.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM with the memorial service to follow at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service in Cleveland, TN. The interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, TN. A gathering of friends and family will be held following the burial at Tasso Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
