Jealene Umphlett Shelton

Obituary
Jealene U. Shelton, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late Vernon and Dollie Umphlett. Jealene had been a resident of Cleveland for more than 50 years. She retired from her occupation at Bell South after 29 years of service. She was also a very active member of the First Lutheran Church in Cleveland.
In addition to her mother and father, Jealene is preceded in death by one brother, Dr. Wiley Lee Umphlett. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Deanie Shelton and Lisa Ray (Robby), her son Dr. Whitney Shelton (Carolyn), one brother, Wesley Umphlett, and three grandchildren: Jamie Ray, Lauren Faustman (Andrew), Courtney Belcher (Wesley).
The family will receive friends from 10:00am-11:00am on Friday, October 12th at the First Lutheran Church on 195 McIntire Ave NW, Cleveland, TN 37312. The funeral service will be at 11:00am at the church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
