Jason Lynn Bennett

Jason Lynn Bennett, 41, a resident of Decatur, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Starr Regional Hospital in Athens, TN. He was born on July 20, 1976 in Cleveland, TN. Jason was a 1996 graduate of Meigs County High School. He enjoyed taking pictures, listening to music and singing. Jason also recently served as pianist for Good Hope Baptist Church.
Jason leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother and step father Deborah & Mike McManus; father Gary Lynn Bennett; brother John Bennett; sisters Denise and her husband Willie Shannon, Lindsey McManus and Allison Bennett (Blake); nieces and nephews Tyler Kelley, Atlas Shannon, Eva Rae Shannon; Kason Greene, Katelyn Bennett, John Bennett and James Bennett; numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 4:00 PM at the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Max Redman officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the 4:00 PM service time at the Cleveland chapel.
