Jason Chad Poteet

Jason C. Poteet, 45, of Rossville, passed away surrounded by loving family on August 23, 2019 in Trenton, Georgia. Jason was a long time resident of the Lakeview area and had recently moved back from a stay in Baltimore, Maryland. He loved spending time with his family, as well as hunting, fishing, and watching football. He was an avid Alabama football fan.

Jason was preceded in death by his brother, Spencer Poteet; his father, Darrell Poteet; his paternal grandparents, Gordon and Betty Poteet; and his maternal grandparents, Janet Dean and Bobby Pedigo.

Survivors include his son, Nathan Carver; his mother Teresa Evans; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who dearly loved him. He will be missed, but our loss is Heaven’s gain.

Memorial service will be Sunday, September 15th, 3-5pm at True Life Church at 5330 Ringgold Rd. Officiated by Pastor Danny Lance.
