Janice Ann Bishop, 64 of Cleveland, departed this life on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at her residence. Born on September 9, 1957 she was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and was of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with family and friends but her world revolved around her grandkids and her great-grandkids whom she loved with all of her heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bishop; father, William Thomas “Shorty” Nichols; mother and stepfather, Bertha and Johnny Harris; siblings, William Nichols, Jr., Dennis Nichols, Sherry Cranon, and Linda Nichols.
Left behind to cherish Janice’s memory are her children, George Casteel(Nicole) and Donna Nichols; grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Austin Casteel(Jasmine), Tristan Hawkins(Hayleigh), Tabitha Hawkins, Kyle Dunn, Kaebrie Dunn, Shelby Long, Brantley Bidwell,Sebastian Nichols; greatgrandchildren, Clayton Casteel, Peyton Long, and Pyper Long; siblings, Chis Nichols, Terry Nichols, Donna Cross, Alice Guinn, Glenda Millsaps, and Brenda Rector; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Janice Ann Bishop will be held at 2p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Houlk and Ray Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Ocoee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home
