Janet Burnette

Janet Elaine Burnette, 54, of Old Fort, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024. Janet was born on October 31, 1969 to Brenda Smith and Kenenth Clark. Janet enjoyed music, being outside in the warm weather, and loved going to the lake for cookouts. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda (Boyd) Smith; her father, Kenneth Clark; her brother, Kenneth Clark Jr.; sister, Donna Sweatman; nephew, Eric Sweatman; and her niece, Brittanny Baldwin.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Jeffery Burnette; daughters, Amanda (Brad) Ewing, Kristina (Clint) Prince, Laura Burnette, and Desiree Clark; her grandchildren, Amberly Parish, Heaven Lee Parish, Jossy Smith, William Frye, Acen Prince, CJ Prince, Jaxson Prince, Aden Prince; sister, Freida Cash; her brother, Keith Gordon; nieces and nephews, Jimmy Cash, Joshua Cash, Michael Sweatman, Jessica (Anthony) Matthews, Ashley (Tracy) Runyan, Amerlea Baldwin, and Tiffany Baldwin; along with several great nephews, great nieces, extended family, and friends.

A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Chickamauga Dam family and friends. A balloon release will follow the service.
