Janet Brooks

Janet Brooks, 63, passed away on November 10, 2023, at Erlanger Medical Center, with family by her side. Janet was known and well-loved while working in the cafeteria at Englewood school. In her most recent years, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially grandchildren. She was the greatest Nanny to many. Octobers at the beach was a time she always looked forward to. Her contagious smile, good humor, and generous spirit will be greatly missed.

She is now reunited with sons: Brandon Williams and Dylan Brooks, parents Kenneth and Carmen Bowers and Doc McCaslin.

Janet is survived by her loving companion Jim Sims, her children Logan Brooks & Christina Laye, Zach Brooks & Kristen Thomas, Kim & Marc LeVine, Angie Sims & Ricky Quillen, and Jimmy Sims, her loving grandchildren Kinzley and Finnley Brooks, Colton and Kallie Jones, Morgan Armstrong, and Brandon Gibson. She is also survived by her siblings Terry & Tana Bowers and Janice & Mark McCullough, several nieces and nephews, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
