James Wade Collier Sr.

Obituary
James Wade Collier Sr., 66 a resident of Dayton, TN passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Rhea Medical Center. James was born in Edison, GA on October 12, 1945 a son of the late Henry & Ellie Collier. James spent the majority of his life in the Clay County Georgia area and relocated to Dayton TN approximately four and half years ago. After graduating high school, James entered the United States Navy and served his county. He was of the Methodist faith. He was an avid farmer and loved being around people and brightened the lives of all those he was around.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one sister Joyce Butler.
He leaves here to cherish his memory one son James W. “Jim” Collier Jr. and wife Ashlie of Tifton, GA, one granddaughter Camryn Collier also of Tifton, GA, two brothers Billy Collier (Jill) of Cuthbeat, GA, and Henry Grady Collier Jr. (Pat) of Albany, GA, a companion Cindy Sauls of Dayton, TN, one step daughter Nicki Bentley (Fred), one step son Brandon Sauls, and three step grandchildren all of Dayton, TN and a host of other extended family members.
The family is planning a memorial service for Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Vincent Methodist Church located in Bluffton, GA with the Reverend Jackie Williams officiating.
