James Verdon Moore Jr.

James VerDon Moore Jr., 60, of Cleveland, TN passed away on February 19, 2023. He was born on July 1, 1962 in Dalton, GA. James enjoyed attending auctions, vacationing to Pigeon Forge and Florida, and he loved cooking and spending time with his friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Grace Yvonne LaDuke.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Sabrina; father James VerDon Moore Sr. and stepmother Pam Moore; mother-in-law Rita Arthur; sisters: Kathy Pettyjohn, Teresa Caldwell, Tammy Postelle, Levenda Richards, Abby Richards, and Michon Brown; brothers: Mark Richard, Jimmy Richard, and Tim Richard; nieces: Amber Caldwell, April Maddox, Tiffani Cooper, Jillian Caldwell, McKinzie Price; nephews Matthew Caldwell and Beau Bron; stepchildren: Cassidy Hyde (Dakota), Tyler Thompson, Victoria Ensley (Jeremy Tankersly); step grandchildren: Braylon Hyde and Baylor Hyde. In addition to these he leaves behind very special friends Terry and Gina Nicholson.

James’ family will receive friends from 12pm until 2pm on Saturday February 25th at Graceway Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2pm. He will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Pearson and Rev. David Crump will be officiating.
