James Richard Morgan, Jr.'s, courageous heart stopped beating Wednesday morning as he peacefully passed away in his sleep at 39 years old.

James was born December 3, 1985, in West Monroe, LA and of the Christian Faith. James loved college football and was a huge TN Vols fan. He also liked trucks and cigars.

Survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Rebecca Morgan; parents, James & Tammy Morgan; sons, James Morgan, III (Tre) (10) and Jonah Keirnan Levi Morgan (4); daughters, Genesis J. Morgan (16) and Jerni Kenese Luna Morgan (3); brothers, Ryan and Zackary Morgan; and a host of family and friends.

Many friends and family members have shared heartwarming stories, condolences, and reflections on his life, reminding us of the profound impact he had on those around him.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM, Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home, 6018 John Douglas Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421. The event is casual attire.
