After nearly four months, our dad James L. Killian 71 of Old Fort, was reunited in Heaven with our mom on Friday May 6th.
He was a craftsman and could build anything, fix anything, and make it look easy. He was a member of the Mountain Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded by his wife Frances Killian. His parents Lee & Gladys Killian and sister Dean Lewallen
He leaves behind to cherish his memories Daughters Pam & Tim Sluder of Crandall and Tammy & Patrick Strickland of Old Fort. Two grandsons who he thought the world of Brady & Nikki Sluder of Chatsworth & Bryson Sluder of Crandall. Also, a brand-new great granddaughter Ellis.
Sisters: Christine Hyde of Cleveland, MaryAnn & Ronnie Dean of Old Fort.
Brothers: Kenneth Killian of Ocoee, Bobby & Lisa Killian of Benton, Robert & Kathy Killian of Spring City, Gary Killian of Cleveland, Bruce & Wendy Killian of Old Fort, Randall & Linda Killian of Old Fort.
The Family ask that all food be taken to Conasauga River Baptist Church fellowship hall.
Although, our hearts are broken from losing both of our parents in such a short time, we know they are happy together again and not suffering anymore.
A Celebrationof Life and Home going for James Lee Killian will be held at 4PM Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Jackie Martin and Charles Moore officiaiting. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved Frances at Conasauga Cemetery
The family will receive friends from 2PM until the funeral hour on Wednesday
