James “Jim “ Walker, 71 a resident of Daytona Beach, FL and formally of Charleston, TN passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012 in a Daytona Beach health care facility. Jim was born on January 31, 1941 in Charleston, TN a son of the late James Perry and Francis Goddard Walker. In addition to his parents, Jim is also preceded in death by the mother of his children Mildred Marie Smith and one son Ricky D. Walker.
Jim is survived by daughter Sharon Scoggins (Ray) of Old Fort, TN, son Donnie Walker of Cleveland, TN, and their sibling Cynthia Allman (John) also of Cleveland, one daughter-in-law Teresa Walker of Cleveland, two brothers Ken Walker (Virginia) of McDonald, TN, and Benny Walker of Cleveland, five grandchildren Shelia Black, Chris & Nick Walker, Courtney Walker, and Katie Montgomery, and a host of other extended family members and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the Trinity Chapel located at 2779 APD 40 SE, Cleveland, TN 37323 with the Reverend Kenneth Scoggins and Pastor Chuck DeFriese officiating.
