James Harce Evans

James Harce Evans, 89, of Cleveland, TN passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018. He was born on November 23, 1928 to the late William and Essie Evans. James was a self-employed Mechanic and loved to work on vehicles.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Catherine Evans; parents, William and Essie Evans; brother, Roy Evans; sisters, Nell Fairbanks and Lou Evans.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Becky Evans and Russell Evans; grandchildren, Candace Evans, Tanisha Evans, Stormy Evans, and James Evans; great grandchildren, Paisley, Cecilia, Sophia, Colby, Christian, Charlotte, Belle, Sienna, and Rosie.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 1-2pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel. A Celebration of life service will be held at 2pm on Saturday following the visitation with Pastor Gary Nelson officiating. Interment will follow the service at New Friendship Baptist Cemetery.
