James "Tim" Haney

James "Tim" Timothy Haney, 70, of Athens passed away at his home on November 24, 2024 after a brief illness.

Tim was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority.

He is preceded in death by his father, Otis Haney and mother, Cleo Lingerfelt Haney.

Survivors include his son, Keith Haney; daughter, Andrea (Michael) Haney Poole; brother, David (Lorrie) Haney; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

At Tim's request, he will be cremated. The family will hold a private Memorial Service at a later date.
