James Franklin “Jim” Moore, 61, a longtime resident of Athens, TN passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was born on September 29, 1958 in Kingston, TN. Jim was of the Baptist faith and an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army. He was an over the road truck driver who enjoyed spending his share time hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his father Bud Moore and one brother Monty Goforth.
Jim leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Donna Moore, mother Joann Williams Moore, daughter Crystal Johnson and her husband Wayne, son Sterling McKelvey, four grandchildren Haley Johnson, Chase McKelvey, Bryson Johnson and Skylar McKelvey, one sister Benita Moore, five brothers Joey Moore, Dale Moore, Marty Goforth, Mike Moore and Buddy Ray Moore, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
