James Everett Ramsey

James Everett Ramsey, 75, a former resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Thursday, March 24th, 2016 at Southern Traditions Nursing & Rehab Center in Buchanan, GA following an extended illness.James was born and raised in Manchester, TN. He was a manager at Cookes Food Store in Cleveland for fifteen years.James is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth & Ramie Ramsey, son Barry Ramsey, daughter Debbie Leffew, sister Jackie Hundley, grandson Michael Penney and a step son Brad Hannon. He is survived by his wife and soulmate Sharon Ramsey, two sons David Ramsey (Michelle) and Tyler Ramsey, daughter Lisa Lewis (Leroy) and step son Jeff Hannon (Krista), sixteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister Dean Jernigan(Clark), one brother A.J. Ramsey (Charline), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.James was a loving husband, father and grandfather.A memorial service will be on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 at 1:00 PM CST at Forrest Mill Baptist Church in Manchester, TN with the Reverend John Daniels officiating.
