James Edward Morrow Jr.

James Edward “Eddie” / “Hippy” Morrow Jr., 60, of Decatur, TN passed away on March 15, 2021. He was born on July 17, 1960 to the late Ed and Margaret Morrow. Eddie was a semi-pro dart player. He also enjoyed NASCAR, especially going to Talladega and was an avid TN Vols fan. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his brother Eddie Arnold Morrow and sister Brenda Benton.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons James Morrow (Tosha), Richard Morrow, and Steven Morrow; daughter Elisha Jones; siblings: Francis Watson, Michael Hyde, Pat Hutsell (Rick), Kay Busby, and Brenda Ratledge; the mother of his children Marlene Morrow. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held at 7:00pm on Friday March 19, 2021 in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00pm until the service at 7:00pm. Eddie will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
