James Dean Kendrick

Obituary

James Dean Kendrick, 54, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Tuesday afternoon, February 11th, 2014 in a local hospital. Dean was born on June 17th, 1959 a son of the late Jimmy Buck Kendrick. He was of the Pentecostal faith a member of the River of Life Holiness Church. Dean loved to work on small engines. He also loved to help in his church, but Dean's greatest love was to share witness to his faith and share God's love with others

In addition to his father, Dean is preceded in death by one brother Phillips Eugene Kendrick.

Dean leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of sixteen years Brenda Lott Kendrick, his mother Margie Kendrick of Cohutta, GA, three sisters Barbara Brewster (Terry) of Chatsworth, GA, Joan Blevins (Jimmie Ray) and Brenda Killian (Dwight) both of Cohutta, GA, two brothers Tommy Kendrick (Stephaine) and Johnny Kendrick (Teresa) both of Cleveland, TN, numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday night, February 14th, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the River of Life Holiness Church located at 167 Oak Grove Road in Cleveland, TN. A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday morning, February 15th, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the River of Life Holiness Church with Pastor Jimmy Porter officiating. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Cohutta, GA.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made in Dean's memory to the River of Life Holiness Church.
