Randy Day

James Randy Day, 74, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on February 13, 2025. He was born on January 10, 1951 to the late William and Mildred Day. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed being outside, hunting & fishing. He worked as an electriain for many years and served as the Vice President of IBEW Local 175 of Chattanooga. He was a Veteran of the US Army.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Betty Elaine Day; children: James Randy Day II, Wendi Bryson, Carrie Dodson Martin (Rob); siblings: Mike Day (Donna), Bill Day (Jackie); grandchildren: Amber Erwin, Christi Wyatt, Brandon Day, Clinton Martin, Lydia Martin, Grace Martin, Moe Gustus, Keily Bryson-Smith, Asher Smith; several great grandchildren, extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Randy's life will be held at the Chattanooga Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 6018 John Douglass Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421 at 6pm on Wednesday February 19, 2025. His family will receive friends from 3pm until the 6pm service. He will be laid to rest at 10:30am on Thursday February 20th at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.

Grant Charles, Clinton Martin, Mark Miller, Brandon Day, Randal Day, Jasmin Shabaz, Danny Harris, and Scott Shirley will serve as pallbearers.
