James Coffman

James "Yogi" Coffman, 55, of Soddy Daisy went to be with his Lord and Savior Sept 6, 2024 in the presence of his wife and son.

He was a native of North Georgia until he met and married the love of his life 16 years ago. He took pride in his 35 years at Mueller and as a member of the United Steelworkers Local 3115.

He also was a past master of the Daisy Masonic Lodge #706, which he was still an active member.

But becoming a member of Rechoboth Baptist Church family 10 years ago brought himcloser to his Lord as he enjoyed the fellowship every week but more importantly seeing the children giving their lives to Christ every year at Vacation Bible School.

Throughout his life, some of his big loves was Alabama football and Nascar. But what brought the most joy and laughter was all of his family and his grandchildren (Alena and Walker) which was the light of his life.

Yogi is preceded in death by Johnnie East - mother, Anne Coffman-mom, Kenny Freels-brother, Robert Smith -father in law.

Yogi is survived by Jene' Coffman - wife, of Soddy Daisy, Robert Ferguson (Anna)-son of Soddy Daisy, James (JD)Coffman - father, of Ga, Tamara(Tracy) Reed-sister, of East Ridge, Donny(Deborah)-brother of Knoxville, Lisa (Mitchell)-sister in law if Flintstine Ga and Barbra Smith-mother in law of Soddy Daisy, Tn., along with many aunts, uncles, nephews and neices.
