James "Bud" Lindsey

James “Bud” Lindsey, 88, a resident of Georgetown, Tennessee, passed away on Friday night, February 23, 2018. He was born on August 24, 1929 to the late Pryor Lindsey & Laura Moreland Lindsey. Bud was a faithful member of the Standfield Baptist Church for 67 years. Many knew Bud from his lifelong work as a cattle farmer and for his kind and generous heart. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Arthur Lindsey and Nora Sipe.
Visitation will be held on Sunday February 25, 2018 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the Standfield Baptist Church, located at 1549 No Pone Rd, Georgetown, TN 37336.
A celebration of life funeral service will follow the visitation, beginning at 6:00pm at the church.
Bud will be laid to rest on Monday February 26, 2018 at 11:00am in the Standfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
