James Arthur Cass

James Cass, age 80 of Cleveland, departed this life on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at his residence. Born on April 7, 1941 to the late Houston and Kathaleen Cass, he was a native and longtime resident of Bradley County and was of the Baptist faith. James was retired from Food Lion and loved music, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Cass; sister, Virginia Jo Taylor; brother and sister-in-law, Robert “Ed” Cass (Martha);and former spouse, Carrol Cass
Left behind to cherish James’ memory are his children, Robert Cass(Ann), James B.Cass, Michael Cass(Amanda), Lisa Segraves, and Tony Seagraves; grandchildren, Cody, Cameron, Amber, Joey, Toby, Drew, Courtney, and Quinton; sister, Jane Maupin (Wendell), brother-in-law, Richard Taylor; three great-grandchildren; as well as several extended family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for James Arthur Cass will be held at 7p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Hood officiating
The family will receive friends from 5p.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday
