James Andrew "Andy" Womac

James Andrew “Andy” Womac, 67, a lifelong resident of McMinn County passed away on Tuesday morning, May 12, 2020 at his home in Calhoun. He was born on December 10, 1952 a son of the late George & Addie Womac. Andy was of the Christian faith, lifelong farmer and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was retired from Crescent Hosiery of Niota.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters Mary Lou Howard and Frances Wilson, one brother R. J. Womac, two nephews John Womac and Ricky Swafford and two brothers in laws Larry Swafford and Paul Brown.
Andy leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife 40 years Pamela Thomas Womac, two daughters Rachel Womac (James Elder) and Hope Jones, one son James Womac, one step daughter Leslie Spradling (David), grandchildren: Triston Spradling, Hannah Jones, Daylen Spradling, Cayden Jones, Riley Womac and Alan Elder, great granddaughter Brooklyn Brooks, three sisters Mildred Thurman (Jake), Annie Swafford and Rose Brown, one brother David Womac (Sue), one brother in law Junior Wilson, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
In honor of Andy’s wishes, there will be no formal services at this time. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society in Andy’s memory for leukemia research.
