James Allen Womac,76, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away August 25, 2022. He was born on July 21, 1946 in Charleston, Tennessee to Sam and Lillian (Walker) Womac. James has lived in the Cleveland area all of his life where he created lasting friendships. He loved his family and they absolutely thought the world of him. In his spare time James enjoyed the great outdoors and fishing. James was also an automobile enthusiast and was a NASCAR fan.
He was preceded in death by his father Sam Womac and mother Lillie Womac-Waddell. His brothers Clifford Womac, Bill Womac, Bo Womac, Jerry Womac and Tom Womac. Also, his sisters Roberta Powell and Linda Jones.
Left to cherish in his memory are his son Jamie Womac (Muffin) and his daughter Lisa Womac-Lewis. His brothers, Gene Womac, Lon Womac, Eddie Womac and sister Joan Saunders. His grandchildren Matthew Womac, Tanner Garrett, Blake Trentham, and Tucker Trentham. Greatgrandchildren Rylan Hughes, Bentley Massey, Alaynah Womac and Paisley Womac. His Special Friend Phillip Earwood, Sister-in-Law Linda Gentry (Jim) and niece Kristy Gentry Cox (Andy), special friend Kathy Womac, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Companion Funerals and Cremation Cleveland Chapel on 8-29-2022 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Funeral services will follow at 6 PM with Guinn Green officiating. If you are not able to attend, we encourage you to visit our online guestbook and leave warm words of comfort and precious memories for the family.
