Dr. Jacqueline (Jackie) Ann Shihata

It is with profound sadness that the family of Dr. Jacqueline (Jackie) Ann Shihata, age 54, announces her passing on September 17, 2024.

Jacqueline is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Fikry and Nahed Shihata, the loving sister of Nivin Todd and sister-in-law of Timothy Todd, and the proud aunt of Annamarie, Christina, and John Todd. Jacqueline was engaged to John Schultz.

Jackie had a heart of gold. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. She also had a great love of animals from the time she could walk. Jackie dedicated her life to being a compassionate Veterinarian. She has owned two animal hospitals, volunteered much of her time to several wildlife rescue and rehabilitation charities, and served on the Board of Keeper of the Wild. Her family and friends deeply cherished her and she will be deeply missed.

A prayer service for Dr. Jacqueline Shihata will be held on September 21, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Saint Athanasius Coptic Church in Ooltewah, Tennessee, with Fr. Eleia Eskander and Fr. Angelos El Komos officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, Tennessee.

Jacqueline's favorite charity was Keeper of the Wild. Please consider donations in lieu of flowers.
