Jackie Howard

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jackie LeBron Howard on November 1, 2024. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. Jackie was an insurance salesman at American General and was a devoted fan of football (Colts), baseball (Cleveland Indians), and basketball (Celtics). He was born on June 11, 1943, in Cleveland, TN.

Jackie will be reunited in heaven with his late wife, Willie Mae Jones Howard, daughter Hollie Howard Gallaher, mother Pauline Mills Howard, stepfather Robert Howard, sister Jo (Jim) Hurst, and uncle JR Mills. He is survived by his grandchildren Sadie Gallaher and Easton Gallaher, son-in-law Casey Gallaher, nephews Tim (Gail) Hurst and Mike (Teresa) Hurst, as well as multiple cousins and his special friend Bob Tyree.

At this time, no services are planned, but future funeral services and ceremonies to celebrate Jackie's life will be announced. Jackie will be remembered for his passion for sports and his love for his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
