Jack Lamarr Bryson, 68, of Cleveland, went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Jack was born on March 11, 1951 in Cleveland, TN to John Ross and Eula Finnell Bryson. He had a passion for music and mastered many instruments. He became a well-known musician whose talents brought joy to his life and many others who knew him. He was friends and played with many other well-known musicians throughout his music career. Jack also had a great love for cats, and devoted much of his time and resources to their care and rescue. He was a member of St. Luke Episcopal Church. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Carmody Bryson; parents, John and Eula Bryson; brothers, Kenneth F. Bryson and John R. Bryson Jr.; and niece, Dixie Bryson Freeman. He is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Skinner (Terry) and Gayla Hurst; nephew, Kenneth Wilson; nieces, Carmen Reagan (Sammy), Shasta McKenzie McGill (Jody), and Jami Spencer (Larry); and several great nieces and nephews. Also, longtime music partner Cathy Dover and many musicians throughout Cleveland and Bradley County. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Dixie Day Spay in memory of Jack. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 5-7PM with a celebration of life service to follow at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN. Pastor Tim Blackwelder to officiate.
