Ivan Toney, Jr.

Ivan Toney, Jr., 80, of Soddy Daisy, TN, passed away November 11, 2023, at a local healthcare facility. Born April 3, 1943, to the late Mattie & Ivan Toney, Sr. and of the Baptist faith. Ivan loved anything to do with Concrete/masonry work. He was the owner of Professional Concrete Finishing Company. Ivan enjoyed fishing, bike riding, hunting, gardening, and being outdoors.  Ivan enjoyed talking with people, he never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Harris Lee Toney, Sr.

Survived by his loving wife, Annie Toney, son, Ivan Cordell Toney; daughters, Diane (Travis) Byrd, of Cleveland, TN and Tracy Toney, of Chattanooga, TN; siblings, Mahalia Gilbert Warner, of Madison, AL and Pearlie Jones, of Madison, AL, and Catherine Toney, of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and a host of many friends. Special friend and sister-in-law, Vera Dillard.
