Irene Thiron

Obituary
Irene Thiron, 72, of Calhoun, TN passed away on January 2, 2014 at her home. She was born on August 9, 1941 to Lovie and Golden Howell in Michigan. She was the oldest of six children. They later moved to Illinois and married Werni Thiron in 1966.
Irene is survived by her beloved husband Werni Thiron and her three children: Cathy Simpson Mayer and husband, Paul, Steve Simpson and wife, Pam, and Tara Thiron Godfrey; as well as her four grandchildren Megan and Lizzie Simpson and Ryan and Austin Godfrey.
She is also survived by two brothers Ottis Howell of Hamilton, Alabama, and Nate Howell of Charleston, TN as well as two sisters Shirley Fox of Illinois and Tammy Bennett of Cleveland, Tennessee. Preceding her in death was her in death was her brother Wayne Howell of Cleveland, Tennessee.
Irene was a woman who loved the Lord with all of her heart. She was involved in spreading the gospel to others through emails and letters and passing along stories of miracles. She was always excited to spread the message of the Lord.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday January 7, 2014 at South Cleveland Church of God located at 1846 Volunteer Drive SW. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until the service at 6:00pm.
