Ina Pankey

Ina Pankey, 78, a resident of Chatsworth, Georgia, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Friday night, March 2, 2018. She was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church. Many knew that Ina loved to read and she always enjoyed her beloved dog “Scruffy”. More than anything, Ina loved her family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Ina is preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Essie Mantooth; husband, John Pankey; son, Jerry Milen; as well as numerous other siblings.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving children, Teresa Milen and Jimmy Milen (Tori); step-children, Mike Pankey (Judy), Mark Pankey (Tammie), and Sharon Pankey; grandchildren, Jonathan Pankey (Ashley), Caela Davis (Zachary), Kelly Pankey, Matthew Pankey (Ashley), and Amanda Pankey; siblings, S.L. “Peanut” Mantooth and Bonnie Poteet (Harold); as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday night, March 6, 2018 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Mountain Springs Baptist Church, located at 4828 Ladd Springs Rd, Old Fort, TN 37362.
A celebration of life funeral service will follow, beginning at 7:00pm at the church with Pastor Bob Green officiating.
Ina will be laid to rest on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at 11:00am in the Mountain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Homer Roberts officiating.
