Imogene Ransford

Obituary
Imogene Ransford, 87, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on Tuesday September 2, 2014 at her home. She was born on March 4, 1927 to the late Rev. Bill and Gladys Reddout. Imogene was formerly of Crescent, OK, moving to Chattanooga four months ago. Imogene loved knitting, quilting, and cooking. She lived in California for a number of years and loved to ride Dune Buggys with her husband, Martin. Above all things she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family dearly.
She is preceded in death by one sister Reva Reddout, who passed away many years ago.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 69 years, Martin Ransford; two children: Edward Ransford (Linda), of Lander, WY; Rita Cole (Roger), of Chattanooga, TN; two grandchildren: Carrie Ransford, of California and Stacy Cole, of Union, KY; one brother Bill Reddout (Carolyn), of Tulsa, OK; two sisters: Ruth McGuire (Wayne), of Salt Lake City, UT and Inella Dose, of Anaheim, CA. In addition to these, she leaves behind many other extended family members and friends.
The family has elected to not have a public service at this time.
