Obituary
Ila C. Wagner, age 93, of Dayton, TN passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013. Ila was born on February 21, 1919 in Wellsboro, PA, the daughter of Ralph and Margaret Christian. She was married to George S. Wagner, who preceded her in death in 1961. She is survived by 5 children, Betty (Don) Davis of Pine City, NY, William (Mary) Briggs of Corning, NY, George (Lucille) Wagner of Ottawa, Canada, Mary (David) Bailey of Clifton Springs, NY, Linda (Frank) Rouse of Dayton, TN; two sisters, Thelma Borden of Savona, NY, Mary (Vyrl) Norris of Painted Post, NY; one brother, Jay (Marilyn) Christian of Spencer Port, NY; and 18 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held for family and friends in Dayton, TN on February 8th at 6:00pm at New Union Baptist Church and also in New York State at a later date. In lieu of flowers, cards addressed to The Family of Ila C. Wagner would be welcomed. Arrangements are being entrusted to Companion Funeral & Cremation Service in Cleveland, TN.
