Ida Owens

Ida Yvonne "Sissy" Owens, 85, of Decatur passed away on March 7, 2025 at her home.

Sissy was a member of Calvery Missionary Baptist Church of Decatur for several years. Above everything, she enjoyed spending time talking with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by husband, Charles Robert Owens; son, C.R. "Bird" Owens; parents; Elmer and Pearl Heck; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie Owens; sister, Iva Dell Varnell; many nieces, nephews and other loved family members.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 6:00pm. A Visitation will be held prior from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:00am at Decatur Cemetery.
