Ida Jean Johnson Womac

Ida Jean Johnson Womac, 91, a lifelong resident of Athens, Tn passed away on Friday morning, January 17, 2020. She was born on July 21, 1928 a daughter of the late James & Dora Richardson. She will be forever remembered as being a loving and devoted mother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Allen Womac, one daughter Christine Givens, three sisters Genille, Grace & Glady and three brothers Hubert, Paul & Sam.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter Grace Bledsoe, three son Johnny Johnson, James Johnson and David Johnson, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of friends.
A memorial service is planned for Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street with the Reverend Gary King officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM service time.
