Hurshul Andrew Richesin

Hurshul Andrew Richesin, 76, of Riceville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Hurshul was born on June 8, 1946, in Monroe County Tennessee to the late Sam and Gena Richesin. He retired from Olin Chemicals after 30 plus years. Hurshul was of the Baptist faith.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Fugate Richesin; paternal grandparents, John and Mary Barnes Richesin; maternal grandparents, Farris and Carrie Roy Thompson; and his three infant brothers.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Randy Richesin; grandchildren, Tyler (Natasha) Richesin; and Savanna Longmire; his great grandson Tripp Richesin; two sister, Martha (Richard) Roberts, and Becky Richesin; his brother, Darrell (Liz) Richesin; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens on February 22, 2023. A Graveside service will be held following the visitation at 2:30 pm at Spring Creek Cemetery in Riceville, Tennessee with Pastor Kenny Purdie officiating.
