Howard Virlyn Ledford

Obituary

Howard Virlyn Ledford, 81, went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2014. He was born on May 6, 1933. He was the father of Sandra Ledford of Rossville, GA and Deborah Lemons of Cleveland, TN. He was the son of the late Carl Lee and Alma Ledford of Chattanooga, TN. Howard was also the brother of the late Alvin Ledford of Pikeville, TN and Doris Hennesse of Chattanooga, TN.

Surviving siblings are Donald Ledford of Delano, TN and Barbara Boerema of Douglasville, GA. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was very active in tending to his honey bees. He enjoyed coon and deer hunting along with fishing.

The will be no formal visitation or services he will be interred in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
