Homer Guffey

Homer Guffey, 50, of Decatur, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024. A hardworking and loving man, Homer brought light and joy to all who knew him.

Homer had a passion for working on cars, tinkering with gadgets, and spending time in his yard, where he found peace and creativity. Above all, he cherished time with his children and grandchildren, who were the heart of his world. Homer lived life to the fullest, always wearing a smile that could brighten even the darkest day. His kind and generous spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Homer is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon Guffey, of Decatur, and his beloved mother, Delores Guffey. He will also be deeply missed by his siblings, Benita Gosnell, Mary Kimpson, and Hope Robinson. Homer was preceded in death by his father, also named Homer Guffey, who welcomed him home with open arms.

The family entrusted Homer's final care to Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, Cleveland Chapel. Please continue prayer's for Mr. Guffey's Family during this diicult time.

Though his time on earth was brief, Homer's legacy of love, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
