Homer George Fansler, 71, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 29, 2019 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He retired from working at Maytag/Whirlpool after 44 years of service. He also loved farming and spending time with his family as well as his K9 companion Ellie. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Bonnie Faye Fansler; and brothers, Odell, Hershel, and Herbert Fansler.
Homer Leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Sandra Womac Fansler; children, Richard (Danita) Fansler, Michael (Marsha) Fansler, and Lacey (BJ) Fentress; grandchildren, Mia Fansler, Tyler Fansler, and Bobby and Melanie Fentress; sister, Geraldine Paseur. As well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 4:00-6:30pm at Central Church of Christ. The celebration of life service will be held at 6:30pm following the visitation time. George Cupp will be officiating the Service
