Herman Rush

Herman Clyde Rush Sr., 90, passed away peacefully at his home in the company of loved ones on Sunday, March 17th, 2024. Herman was a resident of Old Fort, TN, and a native of Polk County, TN. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy, where he was stationed at the U.S. Naval Station in Newport, Rhode Island. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly Rush, both his parents; James Park (JP) Rush and Vinnie Mantooth Rush, and his eleven older siblings.

Herman is survived by his children Clyde Rush, Wanell Rush, Molly Goins, and Heidi Boring. Along with ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He leaves his loving family behind to cherish his memory. Family will accept friends for visitation on Monday, March 25th, 2024 at the Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN from 5pm to 8pm. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 at the Companion Funeral home at 11am and the burial will take place at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
